Yoooo wassup Max? How do you know WhiteCrow dude? Did you guys collab on a project or something? Yeah we actually worked on a prequel to socitey X a while back about a year ago I think, it didt really work out though because he's very busy and I like to have things go a little faster, so I started working on my own projects but crow and I are still very good friends and support each other all the time ^^

I have to agree with you Max, I got treated rather rudely on that site as well (don't know why they're like that?) Anyways, awesome to have you on the team!

Unfortunately all MR seems to be at the moment is a spot for a few people to chat about stuff. They say for people to post their stories and artwork, but only rarely do they reply when they are posted. Other than that the members are annoyed by writers that only come to the site to get an artist, because there are like 15 joining per month while artists looking for work only show up maybe once a month.

Yeah, unfortunately artists are hard to come by it seems Speaking of which, I was trying to find someone to make a promo poster for my current concept story I wanted to add here and I was commissioning for it but that still didn't do the trick. haha I'm at a loss

At the beginning I was really really active on debates and other stuff but now my determination on MR has dropped to about 30% of the original when I realised it was all pointless/useless and it keeps dropping, I guess that's what the other artists also feel.

Oh I have seen a worst forum, but now that forum seems to be shut down. In that forum the beginner art critic section/and art section was totally deserted...I posted there and only 2 people where still actively giving advices to the beginners...the chatting box about anything that has nothing to do with art though was receiving a new post every 30 min...I was so frustrated about that forum...but now I am a bit vaccinated against the disappointment of not receiving any replies from my posts, so I just post whenever I want to, no matter what might happen. Of course the main reason might be that they are busy...but when I looked carefully at some debates, I read that the artist members were absolutely fed up about giving criticism because some really stubborn beginners always took their criticism as insults and responded back with insults, and so they started to think: "You ain't gonna change anything anyways, so why would I bother giving any criticism"

There is a big difference between professional critics and amateur critics. A professional critic bases their critique purely on objective grounds. I find MangaRaiders put a lot of subjective emphasis into their arguments, which dilutes the purpose behind the actual critique and scares people away (including myself). Most users in my experience forget to add suggestions to what one should do to improve and instead leave the criticism very vague and harsh-sounding(ex. "Story too jumbled," "Story doesn't make sense," "Story has no direction", instead of "This part lacks fluency because... What you could do is..."). Fortunately Caesarea has already established itself as an objective-based group working towards a single project knowing the end result is a projection of everyone's capabilities. I intend to keep it that way

I intend to keep it that way People who are giving criticism in those way are in fact going agains the forum rules and the admins/moderators fail to check them out...if I were an admin/moderator (not that I have time for that anyway), I'll give warnings to every people who are going against the rules and I won't let anyone do anything before reading the rules...and once those warnings reaches some peaks that are above the tolerance limit, I'll just kick them out of the forum... but that's just all hypothetically speaking because I have no idea about what kind of amount of work they go through
